Questions about plans and billing
Is the Free plan really free?
Yes, forever, with no card. It includes Instant Quote with lawn measuring, customers and emailed quotes, scheduling and the crew app for one crew, and invoices you create and send yourself, with up to 10 requests and 10 quotes a month. When a month’s requests run out, Instant Quote keeps working for your customers. New requests are saved but locked, and you are emailed that one is waiting, without its details. Upgrade to a paid plan to see them; every locked request opens then, so nothing is lost.
How does the free trial work?
Every paid plan starts with 30 days free. You add a card when you start, nothing is charged for 30 days, and you can cancel from your Billing page before the trial ends to pay nothing. If a paid plan ends you move to Free; your data stays.
Do crew members need a paid login?
No. Crew (field) logins are free and unlimited on every plan, Free included. The plan’s login count is for office users who manage quotes, customers and settings.
Are there per-lead, per-measurement or per-user fees?
No. Paid plans are a flat monthly or yearly price with unlimited requests and quotes, and lawn measuring has no limit or fee on any plan, the free one too. Crew logins are free and unlimited on every plan. The only usage-based items are optional add-ons and, for online payments, Stripe’s processing fees plus 0.5%.
How do online payments work?
You connect your own Stripe account in a few minutes. Customers pay invoices by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or bank transfer, and money goes straight to your bank. Stripe’s fees apply, plus 0.5% to GroundsQuote. Online payments are a $19/month add-on on Starter and Pro and included on Business.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade from your Billing page at any time; Stripe prorates the difference.
What does yearly billing save?
Yearly plans are ten months for twelve: Starter $490, Pro $1,290 and Business $2,490 a year.
Do I need Google Maps or any other subscription?
No. Maps, measuring, route planning, email delivery and quote and invoice PDFs are included.
